However, we are concerned with this for most of the movie. It is certain that Utsubo is, at least, a creep just like his business associate Isaki. Is he truly a horrible person, does he care about Hinako or does he just use the children and the less fortunate as a way to put up a front for his illegal activities? His two faces are as different as can be and you can’t help but wonder where Utsubo’s true feelings lie. His character is the one that we get to think the most about. The Fable 2 is also not just about Akira, although the name might say otherwise, it’s also predominantly about Utsubo.

It’s not just the action sequences that are really nice, it’s also the look into the lives of the people that the movie is based on. At 133 minutes, it’s a bit long but it’s absolutely a treat to watch. The Fable The Killer Who Doesn’t Kill is an interesting move, one that is extremely fun to watch. So, where does Akira’s newfound discovery of Hinako take him? Anyway, after saving Hinako from her pimp, we jump to the present, where Akira, or The Fable’s execution’s only survivor Utsubo is living a double life. As very bad people start getting killed, you know you’re in for a start.
For fans of action and adventure, as well the first instalment of the franchise, this is going to be a great start.
